Private Day Tour: Tujia Ethnic Ancient Village of Shiyanping from Zhangjiajie

Make your way down to your hotel lobby for pickup around 8:30 a.m. to meet your dedicated guide. Climb into a private tour vehicle and relax during the 2.5-hour drive to the ancient village of Shiyanping. 

Once there, explore the ancient village comprised of 180 stilted buildings with your guide. As this tour is private, you can move at your own pace and ask any questions you may have. This UNESCO World Heritage Site at the base of a mountain is surrounded by forest and dates back to the Qing dynasty. 

Take a break for lunch, then spend some time meeting local families or going fishing in the nearby stream. 

Your tour ends with drop-off back at your original departure point.
