Meet a driver/guide at your accommodations in Marrakech, then make the short journey to the Ourika Valley in a climate-controlled vehicle. As you drive, admire the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains rise up from the plains, then enter a lush, agricultural valley with a thriving traditional culture.
The first stop of the day is a place where local Berber women extract precious argan oil from the kernels of the argan tree, then head to the village of Setti Fatma. This the the starting point for a hike to the Setti Fatma Waterfalls, following a steep trail across a series of narrow bridges to seven picturesque cascades. While at the waterfalls, and throughout the tour, take advantage of your day with a private guide to set your own pace, with plenty of time to take breaks or ask questions.
Following the hike, cool off with a drink, then continue to a family home for a classic Berber meal of tajine, salad, and fresh fruits. After, begin the return trip to Marrakech, where this tour concludes at your original departure point.
