Private, Authentic Ethiopian Meal and Coffee Ceremony in a Local Home

Your host will pick you up from your Addis Ababa hotel and bring you home to enjoy a private, authentic Ethiopian meal with his wife Tigist in their home. During your 1.5 hour experience, Tigist and Daniel will share stories of their live and more about their culinary traditions of Ethiopia. Enjoy perfect homemade injera, a traditional fermented bread Ethiopians use as an edible plate with other dishes such as shiro and tibs served on top of it. You will also learn to roast coffee beans and enjoy a traditional coffee ceremony after your meal, as Ethiopia is the birth place of coffee!
