Pompeii and Vesuvius Day Trip

"We had an excellent experience with our driver Antonio Carola today. He picked us up right on time, was incredibly patient, polite, and made the whole day feel super smooth. Along the way he shared helpful info about the area and answered every question we had. He even recommended a great local restaurant that we loved. He took us to Pompeii and up near Vesuvius, giving us plenty of time to explore and take photos without feeling rushed. And as a kind gesture, he dropped us right at our hotel since it was on his way, which saved us a lot of backtracking. Truly a safe, professional, and thoughtful driver. We couldn't recommend Antonio more highly."

This tour was amazing! Antonio Carola was the best driver, he took great care of us and was very knowledgeable about the area. When we got to Pompeii, Roberta provided an insightful and informative tour. She was very passionate and knowledgeable and provided us a world class tour of the ruins.

Myself and my husband and children along with our friends and children did a private Pompeii and Vesuvius tour with Antonio Carelo today. He was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He was there with a clearly marked sign when we left our cruise and was friendly and welcome from the minute we said hello. He was informative and interesting telling us what all the sights around us were. We first visited Pompeii. He was kind and provided lots of water on what was a very very hot day. We then took a wonderful drive up to Vesuvius. Antonio opened the roof on the vehicle we were in making the experience even more special. It was a fantastic day and we could not have asked for a better guide. I would highly recommend. Thank you

A very interesting and informative tour. Luka our tour guide met us on the jetty with our name on a board so was easy to find. We were a group of 7 (5 adults and two children), and we were with another family of 5. So we were a small group, firstly we were taken by a comfortable mini bus to Pompeii (30 mins) with Luka giving a good running commentary on the way. We had time before going into Pompeii so see how Cameos were made and a chance to buy. For Pompeii Luka handed us over to Nico, a friendly and knowledgeable archaeologist who gave us a fascinating insight into Pompeii. Then time for lunch before taking the minibus onto Vesuvius. Again Luka explained everything and made sure we knew exactly what and how everything happened. The walk up Vesuvius was hot but well worth it, including the cold beer at the top. Overall would totally recommend this trip and selecting Luka if the opportunity arises. Our driver Franchestco was also super and gave us a safe transit between stops.
