The choice of buildings visited is determined from time to time by the guide based on attendance, waiting times in case of long lines, or opening hours of the buildings. - The tour includes a visit to a Cameo factory, the Cameo is a typical Roman-era jewel found during excavations at Herculaneum and Pompeii in 1748. In the factory you will be able to see a craftsman at work, the cameo is a piece of jewelry made from congeals and precious stones and is hand engraved by the craftsman. A visit to the factory will allow you to use the toilets free of charge before entering the excavations, so the stop at the Cameo Factory in addition to being informative is essential in terms of managing your visit to the Pompeii excavations.
