Transportation was good...
Transportation was good but not the best information. Pisa was so crowded & we were expected to find our (complicated) way back to the bus. Walking part of tour was hard to hear b/c no earpiece & guide was young & not the best.

Confusing
You get dropped off without thorough instructions of what is expected and what to do. Got nothing out of the tour.
Tower Power!
Firstly, the booking experience is very smooth, which is reassuring, and the instructions are accurate, as it is easy to find your guide at the meeting point. Our excellent driver was Andrea, and our guide was Kiyko, a real character who speaks several languages and is a musician on the side. Kiyko knows his stuff, as you would expect, and made the coach journey interesting with the history of the region. We were slightly worried that our time to visit the leaning tower of Pisa was close to our return meeting time, but Kiyko gave us the option of taking the next coach back, which was helpful. In the end, the timings worked, and he even kept in touch with me via WhatsApp to make sure we were on schedule, which was reassuring. We highly recommend Viator, it is a lot cheaper than booking a tour with the cruise line, but just as efficient and enjoyable!
The time we were there...
The time we were there was definitely enough to see everything. My husband even climbed up the steps inside the Leaning Tower. Lumi our guide, imparted information on the way out and back - a very friendly lady.
