Meet a driver at your accommodations in Marrakech, then make the 37-mile (60 km.) trip to the Ourika Valley in an air-conditioned vehicle. Upon arrival in the valley, you’ll find the perfect escape from busy Marrakech, and start the day with a guided camel ride.
See where local Berber women extract the precious argan oil from argan trees, sun-drying the fruit before painstakingly cracking the kernels, and learn about some of the unique plants and animals that live in the Ourika Valley.
Stretch your legs on a hiking trip from Setti Fatma village to a series of scenic waterfalls, with time to relax by the river, and take pictures of the pretty spot. Following your hike, enjoy a refreshing drink by the river, and continue to a local home for a traditional Berber lunch of salad, tajine, and fruits.
After lunch, begin the return trip to Marrakech, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel at roughly 5pm.
