This remote stretch of desert river features a put-in near South Pass City, a technical and fairly unknown canyon stretch and ends on a Nature Conservancy Easement. This packraft adventure is more remote than our Green River Trip and will not have public restrooms on any stretch. Camping will be remote and again participants are required to practice sound Leave No Trace ethics. There could be portaging on this trip and the possibility of encountering unique western river hazards. There will be lots of opportunity for risk assessment and conservative decision making as well as more committing lines. All participants on this trip are required to have previous experience in a boat moving through class II water and experience camping without amenities. Not sure if you or your party have the right river experience? Get in touch, we’d be happy to discuss whether this trip is right for you.
