It is imperative to arrive promptly at the meeting point 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time.

Entrance into the church requires a dress code that specifies that knees and shoulders should be covered.

Extra measures may also restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside. To avoid disruptions, or denial to entry, we strongly suggest that you avoid bringing large purses, bags, and/or backpacks on your tour.
Cancellation Policy

On tours canceled more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time, we are happy to offer our customers a credit voucher for the full value of the tour. Tours cannot be canceled with less than 24 hours notice. We are unable to provide compensation for cancelations with the 24 hour window prior to your tour departure, nor can tour dates or times be amended. Bookings made with the 24 hour window are final.
Redemption information
• Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked tour start time.
• Our City Wonders guides will have a City Wonders sign with the name of the tour at the meeting point for easy recognition.
• This activity is not wheelchair accessible and is unable to accommodate strollers or baby carriers.
• You must wear clothing that covers your shoulders and knees (men and women) for entering sacred or holy places.
• You must not bring large purses, bags, and backpacks on this tour, as anything larger than a small bag is not permitted inside the venue.
• This is a physically challenging tour that involves a considerable amount of walking and stairs. For this reason, we do not recommend this tour for customers with health conditions and recommend comfortable shoes for all guests.
• The organisation reserves the right to alter itineraries or close off areas of the basilica for reasons of safety, restoration, maintenance, adverse weather conditions or occasional events.
• In order to comply with legal regulations, the organisation will regulate the capacity of the basilica and its areas according to criteria of safety and conservation.
• We will do everything within our power to ensure timings and itineraries are respected; however, due to issues beyond our control, timings and sites are subject to last minute changes on rare occasions.
