Montserrat Hiking & Monastery + el Penedes Wine and Cava Tour

Discover the secrets of Montserrat Monastery and Hike the Natural Park with a passionate local guide. Then drive to el Penedès wine region, discover a familly owned ecological winery and taste their awarded wines and Cava.

You will start the day visiting the Benedictine abbey of Montserrat and discovering its amazing hostory before the crowds arrive.

You will start to hike from the monastery following a beautiful path with many natural viewpoints that will offer stunning views from where we will have 360 degrees views over the multi-peaked rocky range and in clear days we would be able to see the Pyrenees.

You will continue to el Penedès, one of the oldest wine-making regions in Europe, world-famous for producing wines of exceptional quality, and especially for being the place where Cava (sparkling wine) is produced. El Penedès is the most importnat wine & Cava producing area around Barcelona.

You will get to a family-owned organic winery where you will enjoy a guided visit to the cellar and learn about their history and the elaboration process. You will also taste three wines from their range of white, red and sparkling wines. You will have it with some Catalan snacks.

Explore the beautiful trails of Collserola Natural Park with a local guide and enjoy its amazing nature, discover Tibidabo amusement park and enjoy great views of Barcelona from the best natural viewpoints over the city.

In this unique hiking experience we will discover the Collserola Natural Park walking through its beautiful trails and hidden fountains. We will reach the top of Tibidabo, place of an old amusement park, offering amazing views over the city. From here we will spot the most important buildings in the city such as Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar or Camp Nou. We will continue our route through a panoramic trail where we will have a break and eat a delicious typical Catalan Sandwich before coming back down to Barcelona.
