- Montebello Lakes It was the first national park in Chiapas when created in 1959.
- In 2009 the Montebello National park was designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO.
- The lakes are famous for their striking colors, which vary due to their different mineral contents, ranging from emerald and turquoise to dark green, and even purple and reddish black.
- The tour at Chiflón Waterfalls is framed by a reed valley, mountains and tropical jungle in which rich and dense flora can be seen, including several species of orchids, bromeliads, juniper trees, palomillo trees, sapodilla, cedar and mahogany, among others.
- The main attractions of the Chiflón waterfall are its 5 lakes, collectively called the Chiflon Waterfalls, one of the most Famous is called Velo de Novia (Bridal Veil)
Our adventure begins piking you up from your hostel or hotel, following up we’ll have a trip of about 2-3 hours until arriving at the Chiflon Waterfalls; where through a walk of 1.5km we’ll be able to admire a series of astonishing waterfalls, once we get to the top of the mountain we’ll be able to observe and feel the breeze of the amazing Bridal Veil Waterfall with an impressive fall of more than 120m. After that we’ll move the to the Montebello Lakes National Park, visiting from 4 to 6 parks where you’ll be able to appreciate their crystalline waters that go from pale blue to violet, emerald and turquoise. We will have time to take our lunch and we will back to you hotel once we have completed the last visit.
Nuestra aventura comienza recogiéndote en la puerta de tu hostal u hotel, para después continuar hacia un recorrido de 2 horas aproximadamente y arribar a las cascadas El Chiflón; donde a través de un recorrido de 1.5 km podremos admirar una serie de cascadas impresionantes y llegar a la parte más alta de la montaña para disfrutar la brisa de La Cascada Velo de Novia y de su impresionante caída de más de 120 metros. Después nos trasladamos al Parque Nacional Lagos de Montebello, visitando de 4 a 6 lagos donde podrás apreciar sus cristalinas aguas que van del azul pálido pasando por el violeta, esmeralda y el turquesa.
