Your walking food tour will take you through the iconic London Borough Market and South Bank areas to visit some of the most iconic spots. Borough Market is Britain’s most renowned and oldest food market, an absolute treat for any food lover visiting London! During your tour, walk through the many stalls heaped with fresh produce, cheese, gourmet food and beautiful patisseries. Hear about the history of the market as you stop at a few stalls to sample food - you'll sample oysters from the UK's top oystermen; pastries from a respected local bakery; handmade pork pies from a famous local butcher; cheeses from a local cheesemonger; chocolates from a well-known cacao importer; and of course, wash it all down with a pint of real ale in a British pub. Dan is eager to help people learn about and fall in love with the British food he grew up eating and is so passionate about.
