Enjoy cooking award-wining Miyazaki beef, rolled sushi, and tempura from the very popular ODYSSEY JAPAN special menu. Home-made seasonal Japanese sweets and matcha green tea (that you experience making yourself) are also on the menu. Before cooking, you’ll have fun harvesting fresh seasonal vegetables from the garden. After enjoying the delicious meal, you’ll visit nearby Kogu Shrine. Kogu Shrine is the origin of Miyazaki Shrine, home of Emperor Jimmu, Japan’s first Emperor, and a very spiritual place. You’ll feel satisfied and refreshed after tasty food and a stroll around the historical shrine. Your guide was a high school English teacher in the area, so you’ll be able to ask all the questions you want about local customs and culture in English.
