Meet your guide at 8:30am by the main entrance of the Royal Hotel Kraków. With your group, you’ll set off on a tour to discover the showpiece sights of the city. Visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Market Square, and learn about its medieval roots as you amble pass lively street performers and eye-catching architecture. One of the square’s key landmarks is the Kraków Cloth Hall, which dates back to the Renaissance era.
See Wawel Royal Castle and the cathedral, as well as some beautiful baroque churches. Hear the history of the Jagiellonian University, which is one of the oldest in Europe, and check out the medieval St. Florian’s Gate. Sites linked to the Pope John Paul II and an art deco glass window in the Franciscan Church are among the other highlights you may see.
After about two hours exploring the city, your tour ends in the center of town.
