Departing from your hotel, the first stop of your city tour, will be to Kota Kinabalu Floating Mosque, of the most mesmerizing mosque in Malaysia- for its Islamic contemporary architecture and man-made lagoon surrounding the mosque. Next stop will be to the Atkinson Clock Tower in the city area, which is the oldest wooden standing structure in Kota Kinabalu. It has survived the destruction of Jesselton town during World War II (WW2).
What makes our tour better than the rest is we now go to the outskirts of Kota Kinabalu. You will get the chance to mix with the local people and get some insight into their daily life. We will bring you to visit the local market or ‘Tamu’, where you can see the locals trade their daily goods(vegetables, fruits, flowers, seafood, etc). Then it’s off to have lunch in some of the famous local Sabah eateries which you won’t find easily on your own. Feel free to ask our drivers for recommendation to try something authentic that Sabahans would eat on a daily basis. Finally, we will continue our tour to the Kota Kinabalu Crocker Range National park, where along the way you can observe the local villages. Upon reaching the Kota Kinabalu Crocker Range National Park, there is a viewpoint where you can have a panoramic view of Kota Kinabalu city and surrounding islands.
After leisurely photo taking at the viewpoint, our driver will bring you back to your hotel by mid-afternoon.
