Kimono Lesson with Licensed Instructor (Near Tokyo Tower)

In this program, guests are taught the many facets to formal kimono dressing. You will be dressed in a kimono by a specialist instructor, who will advise you on the steps to putting on the kimono yourself. Guests are then prepped to take photographs in front of our traditional gold-leaf screen, and are afterwards (weather permitting) can partake in a further photo shoot at one of the areas (Zojo-ji Temple, Tokyo Tower, etc) in the building's vicinity.

New for 2019, our Kimono Dressing Experience now takes place in our brand-new, state-of-the-art cultural experiences room, Grand TJT. Current website photos do not represent this location.

Experience historic Japan by wearing the country's most traditional clothing, the kimono. Learn from licensed kimono instructors all the tips and tricks to putting on this notoriously complicated outfit. Choose from a range of elegant designs to wear and end your session with a photoshoot in front of a golden screen and/or at impressive Zojoji Temple or the iconic Tokyo Tower (weather permitting).

All our kimono are genuine, high-quality items, and we offer a wide range of kimono of varying periods, colors, and styles, including a geisha style, samurai style (with sword), and several formal styles.
