Then, hop on a nearby streetcar traveling down St. Charles Avenue for your first glimpses of stately mansions in the Garden District that date back to the late 19th century.
Now it’s time to explore this beautiful neighborhood on foot. Gaze upon magnificent mansions with ornate balconies and leafy ferns as your guide tells stories of the former owners and interesting facts about southern architecture. Cancellation Cutoff: 72 hours
Cancellation Notes: Cancellations received greater than 72 hours prior to tour commencement are fully refundable. Cancellations received within 72 hours of tour commencement are nonrefundable. Amendment requests are subject to availability and price changes. Late arrivals and no shows are nonrefundable. This is applicable to any tour participant that fails to arrive, or arrives after tour departure.

Do we get to go inside Elms Mansion?
Yes, we go inside this mansion every day except Saturday. Saturday we will visit the Columns Hotel as Elms Mansion is closed on Saturdays.
Do I need any ID for this tour?
In general you don't need to bring an ID. You will only need an ID if you plan on purchasing alcoholic beverages along the way.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
This tour is not wheelchair accessible due to the streetcars not being accessible and the very uneven pavement from the magnificent oak tree roots.
Can we taste some of the Pralines from Aunt Sally’s Pralines?
Yes, you will try a few different types of Pralines from Aunt Sally’s Pralines. All are made with butter and pralines so not vegan or nut-allergy friendly.
Can we access any of the houses in the garden district from the inside?
We do access the Elms Mansion, a former home built in 1869, on most days but most of the homes are privately owned.
