In this half-day tour by private car, our guides bring you to Katsunuma, in the picturesque Koshu Valley near Mt Fuji, where most of Japan's wine is produced. There, at two award-winning wineries, you'll enjoy tasting delicious wines made from not only Western grapes but also the indigenous Koshu variety for which Japanese winemaking is best known. Between wine tastings, our guides bring you to vista points where you'll have magnificent views of undulating hills, the majestic shores of Lake Kawaguchiko and Mt Fuji. This tour is accessible and fun regardless of your level of experience with wine. It's an excellent choice for your vacation or as a gift to family or friends. Unlike our other tours, there is no bike riding during this tour. Your guides will be native English speakers who also speak and read some Japanese.

A variety of itineraries are available to match your schedule, interests and budget. Our guides are native English speakers who also speak Japanese. We're experienced with children and offer a family-friendly environment. All bike tours include a private support car to ride in if you get tired, along with bikes, helmets, light snacks and water. Full-day and multi-day tours include lunches. We offer bikes in a full range of adult sizes and some children's sizes. For some tours you have the option to upgrade from our default hybrid bike to a road bike or e-bike. Cyclists who wish to wear their cycling shoes can make a request in advance for an upgrade to clipless pedals. Our winery, brewery and distillery tours are by private car and involve no bike riding.
