During this 4 day trek, you will climb every pick more than 3000 meters- 10000 feet in the Sierra Nevada National Park, the 2nd highest range in Europe after the Alps; starting from the nice village of Jerez del Marquesado from where we will drive to Postero Alto mountain hut, and start our trekking; this day we will climb Picón de Jerez, Tajos Negros, Puntal de los Cuartos and Vacares, we will sleep in our sleeping bags at Lagunas de las Calderetas, beautiful litle glacier lakes with pristine waters at 3000 meters
The second day we will head to the Alcazaba peak, and then to the Mulhacen peak, the highest in the Sierra Nevada range, 3482 meters of elevation with incredible views of the Mediterranean sea and even Africa from the top; we will sleep at Laguna de la Caldera, one of the largest lakes in Sierra Nevada; the third day we will climb Cerro de los Machos and Pico del Veleta, sleeping by the Lagunillos de la Virgen, another beautiful small glacier lakes ; the last day we will get the ridge of Tajos de la Virgen, and climb Elorrieta, Cartujo, Tajos Altos and Caballo, after two hours of walking we will be pick up by 4x4 jeep to go back to Granada city
