Immersive excursion in the landscape of EVO oil from Sabina with tasting

We will make an exciting trekking to read the millennial landscape of the extra virgin olive oil of the Sabina DOP (Lazio, 50 km outside Rome), the "yellow gold" of this region. At the end of the excursion you will taste an EVO oil that you will hardly forget, for its goodness and because it carries all the peasant tradition that I will tell you! I will point out the details of the landscape and you will understand the legendary history of a campaign that has always supplied the capital with oil. We will walk in a "forest" of centuries-old olive trees, planted over the centuries, by humble farmers, up to the highest hills and often ingeniously arranged in "terraces" to contrast the steep slopes. I will point out the plants that grow all around, which confirm the climate of these areas, You will also visit the village of Fara Sabina, a medieval village where the local lords interested in making profit with oil lived.
