Horse riding for experienced riders at the foot of the Andes

Summary

Pick up will be around 7,30 am from Mendoza city. The ranch is located at the foot of the Andes, a 2 hour drive south from Mendoza. During the drive, you can observe some of the Mendocinian landscape, such as crops of vegetables and fruit trees, wineries, rivers, and mountains. Upon arrival, a classic Argentinian breakfast will be waiting with some homemade bread, marmalades and mate, coffee and tea. This ride is for very experienced riders. The proposal is to go to the country and bring back some cattle to do some work in the yard. You can learn how to use a "Lazo" and other customs from the "Gauchos". We also can bring some horses to the yards which is a bit more difficult but more fun. We can discus the right itinerary considering your experience, we have options for every rider. For lunch we will have an "Argentinian Asado" (barbecue) with some of the best Argentinian beef, salad, grilled veggies, and wine from Mendoza. If you have a special request for the menu just let us know, there are many Argentinian dishes that we can prepare. Following lunch, we will ride back to the farm and have some afternoon tea. Transport will be waiting to bring you back to Mendoza city.
