Start with 8am pickup at your hotel in Saigon, then travel to the Independence Palace, also called the Reunification Palace, for the first stop of the day. Tour the palace-turned-museum’s strategic war rooms, conference halls, and military infrastructure, then continue to the War Remnants Museum. The War Remnants Museum offers a graphic depiction of the human tragedies of the war with the United States, with exhibits of photography and displays of military equipment.

Head into Ho Chi Minh City’s Chinatown to visit Binh Tay Market and Thien Hau Temple, a historic site that’s dedicated to a Chinese sea goddess who protects fishermen. Continue into the historic center of Ho Chi Minh City to see beautifully-preserved colonial-era buildings, then pause for lunch in a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, tour a series of colonial landmarks, including the Municipal Theatre, the General Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, and the brick-red Notre Dame Cathedral, whose twin bell towers look out over a bustling square. This 9.5-hour tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

Transfers outside these areas, including any accommodation outside the city, harbour and the Ho Chi Minh’s International Airport are excluded.
