  • Up to 24 hours before the beginning of the activity: full refund
  • Less than 24 hours before the beginning of the activity or no-show: no refund

Terms and conditions
  • Please note that your tour is NOT a private tour unless a private tour was explicitly booked and paid for.
  • By purchasing a tour with Dreamland Safari Tours, and checking the mandatory box during an online booking, and/or agreeing to be bound by the cancellation policy during a phone booking, you acknowledge that you have read and fully accept the cancellation & rescheduling policies for your specific tour type listed below. Purchasing a tour with Dreamland Safari Tours makes these policies applicable and binding to you. If you do not agree nor accept these policies, you will not buy seats from Dreamland Safari Tours. If you cannot afford the loss in event of a cancellation, we recommend you buy Cancel-For-Any-Reason Travel Insurance to protect your investment.
  • Should Dreamland Safari Tours cancel a tour or special event due to any reason, you will receive a full refund for any payments already made.
  • Insurance
  • We strongly recommend that you purchase travel insurance when booking Dreamland Safari Tours adventures, especially if your circumstances dictate it (i.e. sick family members, unpredictable job requirements, hurricane season, etc.). We will not deviate from this our cancellation policy & fees for any reason. Click here to learn more about Travel Insurance.
  • A Word on Weather
  • Although it very rarely happens, we reserve the right to cancel or reroute tours up until the last minute due to weather, safety, or other uncontrollable circumstances. In this case we will try to reschedule, give rain-checks, agree on another more accessible destination, or if necessary give a full refund. For adventures in flash flood prone areas (e.g., Buckskin Gulch) we may choose an alternative destination up until the last minute if weather conditions make it unsafe to adhere to the intended itinerary; such weather-based rerouting does not entitle you to a refund. Cancellations are slightly more likely in Winter.
  • PLEASE NOTE: Dreamland Safari Tours makes all calls about weather. Unless it is unsafe, we lean towards completing the tour as is for a variety of reasons. We also wait until the last minute to make these calls. We do not speculate on forecasts. If a party should decide to cancel outside of or in advance of our decision making, the standard cancellation policy will apply.

Short Description
  • Our White Pocket Tour in extreme Northern Arizona guides you through a gnarled expanse laid bare right at the transition between the white and reddish orange sandstone. It has twists, multi-color striations of white, yellow, red, orange, and pink, pock marks and pools that sometimes fill with water, mushroom like protrusions, strange bulges that look like brains, polygonal fracturing, and wave-like features. The processes that have given yield to these bizarre rock formations stump even expert geologists. Some think that the area was liquefied in an ancient earthquake which distorted the sandstone layers while they were still soft, before they were buried under the oceans for 100 million years and turned to stone under the enormous heat and pressure. The White Pocket Tour guides you to one of the most photogenic places in the Vermillion Cliffs N.M., Northern Arizona, and perhaps the entire Southwest, rivaling the famous Wave in size, variety, and complexity .
