Questo tour ti porterà da Amsterdam ai villaggi di Zaanse Schans, Volendam e all'ex isola di Marken; l'ordine del tour può cambiare. Una visita a Zaanse Schans significa poter ammirare i mulini a vento storici. Oltre dieci mulini a vento costeggiano le rive del fiume Zaan e l'area circostante è libera per passeggiare, essendo un vero e proprio museo all'aperto. Volendam è un tipico villaggio di pescatori olandese e una passeggiata lungo De Dijk e attraverso l'area del porto non deluderà. Qui visiterai la Cheese Factory per saperne di più su come gli olandesi producono il formaggio e assaggiarne un po'. La terza località visitata nel tour è il villaggio di Marken, un'ex isola nel Markermeer, ora una penisola.

A visit to Zaanse Schans means you can get your fell of historical windmills. Over ten windmills line the banks of the Zaan river and the area around them is free for you to wonder around in as it really is an open-air museum.
Volendam is a typical Dutch fishing village and taking a walk along De Dijk and through the harbour area will not disappoint. Here you will visit the Cheese Factory to learn more about how the Dutch make cheese and have a little taste as well.
The third location visited on the tour is the village of Marken, a former island in the Markermeer, now a peninsula.
