Group info
  • Groups of up to 30 are welcome. For larger groups, staggered start times are recommended. If traveling in a large bus or motorcoach, note that there is a fully paved route to the trail head that school buses regularly travel without issue but you will want to allocate extra time to arrive. Private hikes for groups are available daily, year round.

  • Please check the forecast and dress accordingly. We lead outdoor activities rain or shine.
  • Due to the customized nature of our experiences and the wide variety of experiences listed, cancellation windows vary. Please see the policy specific to the experience you have reserved for details.
  • Covid Considerations: If you feel ill or are experiencing Covid-related symptoms, please stay home and let us know as soon as possible. Our stated cancellation policy will still apply. If you are concerned about the risks of last minute cancellation, please consider taking out travel insurance. This is now a known risk and we will no longer ask our team to bear the burden of this risk on behalf of our many guests. Thank you for your understanding as we strive to remain as flexible as possible while also caring for a team that pours their heart and soul into the work they offer. These policies ensure that all members of Asheville Wellness Tours earn a living wage.
  • Timing: it is important to be on time. Out of respect for other participants and the facilitator, public experiences will begin no later than 10mins after start time. Parties who are 10+ mins late may be left behind and no refunds will be issued. Groups who are 15 or more minutes late for a private experience will have that time deducted from their planned service or experience. For example, if you are 15 mins late, a 1hr massage becomes a 45min massage. There are no refunds for time missed due to late arrival and private groups who are more than 15 minutes late will not be accommodated.
  • By registering for this event or activity, I (and each member of the group) certify that I am over 18 years of age and am fit enough to participate in this activity and assume personal responsibility and liability for myself and my belongings. I certify that I have shared all pertinent information with Asheville Wellness Tours
  • I understand there is an inherent risk associated with any exercise program including my voluntary participation in yoga, hiking, stand up paddle boarding, water sports, forest walks, and any other physical activity that may result in injury. I acknowledge that I have had a physical examination and have been given permission from my physician to participate the activity I have registered for. I certify that I am physically well and suffering from no medical problems that would prevent my participation in an exercise/yoga program.
  • I waive and release Asheville Wellness Tours and their partners and subcontractors from any and all liability and responsibility from injury or accident while participating in this activity and/or exercise/yoga program.
  • I acknowledge and agree that Asheville Wellness Tours may use photographs of me with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including, for example, such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and Web content.
