  • Ophorus requires full payment by credit card, internet payment (through our website) or wire transfer (Wire transfer fees at the charge of the Guest) to make a reservation. We accept payment by AMEX, Visa and Master Card. There is no charge or service fee for processing credit card payments except with American Express +3%. For any cancellation, the following fees will be deducted from the refund:
  • Up to 48 hours prior to departure (Paris Time Zone) > no cancellation fees
  • 48 hours prior to departure and less > no refund
  • Please note that the extras (any service added to the original itinerary) are non-refundable and subject to particular conditions, please refer to our reservation team for more details.
  • All private tours are subject to modification of itinerary or cancellation in case of unexpected events such as bad traffic conditions, weather conditions - especially in Alsace during the Christmas markets period - and any other matter that could incur a risk in driving.
  • Our driver/guides or travel agents will keep clients informed in case modifications or cancellations are to be made to insure the safest possible travel options.
  • Regarding the pinasse boat ride (in Arcachon destination), in case of bad weather conditions, the supplier will cancel the experience 48 to 24 hours prior to the day of the ride and the client will receive the full refund of the price of this service.

Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet, and Chassagne-Montrachet wines are considered to be some of the finest whites wines produced in Burgundy while Volnay and Pommard produce some of the most elegant and delicate red wines of Burgundy. This is definitely high on the list of all wine lovers.
  • Here, you will arrive in a local estate to begin your Burgundy wine tasting experience. Enjoy a private commented tasting of local Côte de Beaune wines. Your guide, who is a wine expert, will be with you so do not hesitate to ask questions concerning the wines that you will be tasting.
  • Include your lunch during the booking process
  • To make it easier for you, we suggest 3 different options for your lunch that you can choose from during the booking process. 
  • Option number 1: Enjoy a local lunch at the table of a vineyard restaurant. Exquisite, traditional cuisine in an idyllic setting. This option is priced at 25€ per person, excluding wines. 
  • Option number 2: Enjoy food & wine pairing lunch at a family estate in Côte de Beaune or Côte de Nuits. Choose the wines you wish to pair with typical Burgundy dishes and cheeses. This option is priced at 79€ per person (subject to availability, closed on Sundays).
  • Option number 3: Enjoy fine dining at Château Le Clos de Vougeot with a 4 course lunch at the restaurant 'La Table de Léonce' with 4 wines included. This option is priced at 75€ per person (subject to availability, closed on Mondays during the season).
  • Travel to the Côte de Nuits wine region
  • Take in the sights of the quaint villages of Fixin, Gevrey Chambertin, and Chambolle-Musigny as we drive along stunning landscapes of rolling hills and beautiful vineyards that produce some of the most famed wines in the world.
  • The Burgundy “Champs-Elysées” along the Grands Crus Wine Road include Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny. During this morning drive through the Burgundy vineyards, stop off at famous Romanée Conti for photo opportunities. Discover the beauty of our region, travelling in the calm of our beautiful vineyards, exploring nature and the climats creating our famous wines. 
  • Then it will be time for a prestige tasting in a private wine cellar. During this commented tasting session you will have the opportunity to taste our selection of Great Burgundy wines from different winemakers paired with regional cheeses or fine chocolates. Food and wine pairing suggestions, according to French traditions. Learn about the most famous local grape variety Pinot Noirs.
  • After your afternoon visits and tastings, it will be time to head back to Beaune where we will drop you off. Upon drop off, end of our services.
