Short Description
  • Rosa Gaudí awaits you at the foot of Casa Batlló to embark on a journey through the works her uncle bequeathed to the city of Barcelona. Casa Batlló, a true architectural fantasy with bold colors and daring shapes, will instantly transport you into the imaginative world of the great Gaudí. Surrender to this stone reverie, where Barcelona's architect managed to express an entire aquatic universe: marine resurgences, underwater depths, fish scales, and other water lilies adorn its facade. With nostalgia, Rosa will share with you the significant moments of the architect's life, who was both famous and controversial in his lifetime. To echo the words of Elies Rogent, director of the architecture school where Gaudí graduated: "I do not yet know if we have given this diploma to a madman or a genius, only time will tell."
  • With hindsight, it seems the diploma was indeed given to a genius... and that's what you'll continue to discover with Rosa, in front of Casa Mila, also known as "La Pedrera," which in Catalan means "the quarry." The last civil work of the master, La Pedrera is a unique construction that allows a deep understanding of Gaudí's imagination, and whose peculiar appearance caused a great scandal at the time. A masterpiece of the Catalan modernist movement, La Pedrera will be an opportunity for us to delve into the architectural obsessions that make Antonio Gaudí's style so unique, and in his time, so misunderstood. You will be surprised to learn that Gaudí is much more than an architect; he is a total artist, mastering numerous techniques, curious, and capable of anything.
  • Finally, you will be amazed and filled with admiration before Gaudí's most audacious achievement and life's work: the Sagrada Familia. It will be with emotion that you will discover Gaudí's spiritual evolution, who, from a young dandy, becomes a true "monk-architect," with a frugal and discreet lifestyle, seeking above all to celebrate and commune with God through the realization of his works. You will be dazzled by the richness and sophistication of the different facades of the cathedral, where Antoni Gaudí's remains now rest.
  • Admire those stone reveries that Antonio Gaudi bequeathed to his Barcelona, a city he turned into the world stage for his breathtaking buildings. Watch as it becomes a stage once more just for you, led by his favorite niece cluing you in to the secrets of his visionary works. Genius or madman, even his graduating school did not know, leaving it to the future to decide. This special walking tour, led by a professional actor guide, will show you the Barcelona of Gaudi, passing by some of his most iconic buildings. With hindsight today, what do you think?

  • Welcome to Massilia! "Come as you are," those who enter here in search of a fresh start. Your journey begins in the heart of the city, in the historic district of Le Panier.
  • For it is here, in the district of Le Panier, that Marseille was born in its first form, 600 years before our era. Wander through the narrow streets: getting lost is the best way to rediscover Marseille's richness. You will be accompanied by the best guides imaginable, the founders of the city, Gyptis, or Protis themselves, both of whom know the many secrets of the city.
  • 2600 years ago, Protis, a Greek navigator in search of adventures, discovered pristine coves in the south of Gaul. There, he met the charming and intriguing Gyptis, a young Gaulish woman. Their mutual and passionate love gave birth to the city now known as Marseille. From the union of these two characters, Massilia was born, a Greek colony founded by the Phocians who gave the city its nickname: the Phocaean city. Over the centuries, many have believed they could shape Marseille in their image, constrain it, make it something it was not.
  • But Marseille resists all and assimilates, mixes, and enriches. It is this richness and mixture that you will discover by following Gyptis or Protis on this unusual visit. Marseille will be revealed to you at different times in its history: in the Middle Ages, under the 3rd empire, during the colonial period, under Nazi occupation...
  • So many exciting episodes of the city's history that will be recounted during this theatrical stroll. The union of Gyptis and Protis is what symbolizes Marseille in all its splendor: love for the other, arms outstretched to the stranger, and a haven for the most unfortunate. This is what our Greco-Gaulish couple invites you to discover through a visit to the city's streets.
  • From antiquity to the present day, traverse the time and space of this true mosaic of cultures and feel the spirit of this city that makes Marseille extraordinary.
