  • Your experience begins with a scenic bush flight from our Kenai office to shores of Lake Clark National Park. The scenic flight offers opportunities to see steaming snowcapped volcanoes, massive glaciers, and even some wildlife.
  • Once you arrive in the backcountry there’s always a chance that the bears may greet us near the airplane as they frequently roam through the area. We’ll set off looking for bears, a nice walk on the beach, through grassy meadows, and to a quiet place to observe bears in their natural environment.
  • After about 5 hours, it’s time to board the plane for the return flight to Kenai. Once again you’ll get another round of the best flightseeing Alaska has to offer. Then it’s back to Seward on another scenic drive. This trip is fully guided by Kenai Backcountry Adventures.
  • Entrust KBA to guide you on the most exclusive custom bear viewing adventure, and enjoy an intimate bear viewing experience in the remote backcountry of Lake Clark National Park.
  • WHAT TO EXPECT
  • Your trip begins in Seward when your KBA Guide greets you at your place of lodging, or at a designated meeting point (cruise port, etc). You’ll then be transported to our flight office in Kenai; approximately a 2.5 hour scenic drive. But don’t worry, we make the drive a fun “road trip” experience, stopping for photos and looking for wildlife on the way!
