- Visit the seasonal lake of Merzouga IF THERE WATER .Then, stopover at Khamlia village, listen to some Gnawa music (Optional) to mingle, and possibly have some mint tea with the locals. Please keep in mind that Gnawa musicians, or a tip is required, therefore one of the two options is obligatory otherwise you can skip them and continue directly to the Lead Mines in Mefes is a small almost abandoned town on the other side of the Erg Chebbi dunes, known for its minerals mines such as iron, zinc, and lead in particular. These mines have been started since the French colonization.Later, we continue our 4WD excursion to visit nomad people living in Berber-style tents on the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes. the Tour will end in Merzouga
