Helicopter Glacier Landing Tour from Seward

On arrival at the airport in Seward, meet your pilot for a brief orientation, then board your helicopter. Your pilot provides a radio headset that allows for communications during the flight.

Take off and head towards the Godwin Glacier, taking in the dense forest of Kenai Fjords National Park during the 15-minute flight. Pass over Resurrection Bay on the way to the Godwin Glacier, getting great views of floating icebergs below you and snow-capped mountains in the distance.

After your pilot lands the helicopter on the glacier, you'll have 15 minutes to snap photos of Alaska's majestic natural beauty and soak in the pristine atmosphere before reboarding the helicopter for the return flight to Seward.

Weather depending your skilled pilot can take you to one of several amazing places, including the front nearby glacier where you may be able to touch glacier ice (landing on the ice is not possible), mountain with magnificent glacier views or at the edge of incredible alpine lakes. Our pilots know the best spots to go in order to see something amazing, and will always try to accommodate showing guests what they would like to see. This is a perfect introduction flight to Alaska's beauty.

Due to FAA regulations, weight restrictions apply, there is a 290lb weight limit per seat, including everything going in the helicopter with guests. There is also an overall weight limit, if your group of 2 or 3 individuals, exceeds 575lb, please call our office to complete your booking. Misrepresented weights may result in the inability to do the tour without reimbursement.
