Half-Day Dubai Desert Off-Road Driving Training for Beginners

Discover the capabilities of your own 4x4 as you learn the basics of desert driving under the supervision of our Land Rover Certified Lead Guide. By the end of your four-hour course, you'll know all about the essential equipment required to tackle any off-road excursion; know when to use high and low gearing; engage differential locks; how to select a safe route through the dunes and negotiate steep slopes; and what to do if you get stuck (self and assisted recovery). Your safety and the preservation of your 4x4 vehicle is a priority on this event as we seek to equip you with the knowledge and motivation to go out and explore the incredible lands around the city. There is more to it than just sand and it is less intimidating than it may appear! Our Sherpa Discovery course is set at beginners' level for those with limited/no experience. Our lead guide has over 30 years experience designing learning/driving experiences in the deserts and mountains of the UAE and beyond, and is a Land Rover-certified lead instructor, who has led consumer, press and corporate events all over the world.
