Greek Sandals Painting Workshop

In this workshop, you will learn how to paint Greek leather sandals inspired by Ancient Greek art drawings and patterns. This is a fun and exciting activity that will allow you to learn interesting facts about Greek Art and at the same time you will be taught how to paint on leather. First, you will explore various art forms of the ancient Greek civilization: Greek frescoes and ceramics, both considered to be the greatest example of painting and also world-famous for the beauty of their decoration patterns. This way you will be able to draw inspiration from different designs before drawing and painting your own. Next, we will provide you with a pair of Greek sandals of your size, which you will use in order to paint your favorite design on. Our instructor will help you throughout the workshop by giving you instructions on how to draw your patterns, advice about using the best colors that will make your design stand out and also guidelines about the best techniques for using acrylic colors on leather. At the end of the workshop, everyone will get their own hand-painted sandals, the perfect accessory to wear whether you stroll around Athens or the Greek islands!
