- Red Line could be not operative in some day
- Who has the "24-hour Priority Ticket" must present at one of the redemption points to receive a priority wristband: • Cruise Terminal stop – Via Fanti d'Italia • City Sightseeing Visitor Centre, located near the Aquarium stop. Once you have received and worn their wristband, you are be able to board the buses before other passengers from any stop, for the duration of their ticket.

Disappointed tour
Very disappointing tour, we have done these hop on buses all over the world. The commentary was poor with no real direction to the subject they were talking about. Also they did commentary whilst in tunnels where you can hear nothing due to the noise. They had plenty of other opportunities to discuss Italian dishes but they chose as we went into a tunnel. They did not inform us much info about the different palaces. They didn’t really talk about the Genoise culture, palace designs and the commentary on Christopher Columbus was limited. We both found it boring and difficult to follow.
Don't Hop on Hop off in Genoa
The experience was poor. €25 each for an hour of only partial historical buildings and not enough detail about the history. The pre-recorded narrator often doesn't give an indication where to look when describing historic building or areas etc. There are large expanses of time where all you can hear is music indisperserd with American "game show host type" voice talking about the experience. The driver and fare collector were not particularly friendly and gave no one time to sit before taking off like a rocket. Save your money. We were able to see most of the historical sights on foot.

Fantastic excursion for cruise travellers, stop is right outside the port and is a brilliant way to explore the city and the surrounding areas.
Great value - get 48 hour pass
The hop on hop off bus goes to all the major sights - historical, shopping, museums, landmarks. Get the two-day pass (same price as one day) and use it to plan your visit. Well worth it to not have to figure out the transit system. But definitely use the transit system to go up to D’Albertis castle — get off hop on but at stop 11 and walk to the entrance. Look it up for the rest of the directions!
Disappointment
It is absolutely not worth the price paid. The application is not precise; schedules and stops are hard to understand. The audio guide in Italy is not always working.
