Gastronomic day at a local market

We will meet at the entrance of "Mercado Temporário do Bolhão", a place where local merchants currently sell their traditional products in a typical and surrounding environment. During the walk through the market, I will explain the history of various products and their importance in the past, but also in the present for Portuguese culture.

Interacting with local vendors, you can taste some of their traditional snacks followed by Vinho Verde.

Children are welcome, however this is an adult oriented tour. Children must adapt to the tour, not the other way around.

On this tour you have the possibility to gain knowledge and a local point of view of our history through a visit to the most typical market in the city of Porto, accompanied by an experienced guide in gastronomic history. In order to be as personal as possible, this tour is hosted by the Co-founder of "C&D Porto Local Tours", an experienced guide in gastronomic history, knowing the vendors in an intimate way and allowing for a local experience that we all want.
