Why take this tour?
Shuttle with our knowledgeable guide from Queenstown to Arrowtown. Perhaps enjoy a pre-ride coffee, brunch and look around the quaint village of Arrowtown before you set off to ride at your own pace along the stunning Queenstown Trail to the shores of Lake Wakatipu and onward to Queenstown Bay. A great day out exploring our magnificent purpose built biking trails. A detailed map and full trail navigation is given at the start of your ride and we are contactable by phone throughout the day. Distance is 35kms if you bike directly to Queenstown or 45kms if you divert to see the Kawarau Bungy bridge. Departing Queenstown as follows: • SUMMER (1 October - 30 April): 9.00am & 1.00pm Departs Queenstown • WINTER (1 May - 30 September): 10.00am Departs Queenstown

Around The Basin is a well established, locally owned company who pride themselves on offering a personalised service for all your biking needs on the Queenstown Trails, choose from Supported and Guided Cycle Adventures or simply Bike Hire or our Bike Shuttle Service that operates within the Wakatipu Basin. Around The Basin is owned by long term Queenstown locals Steve Norton and Lisa Cooper who are passionate about biking with over 20 years of involvement in the adventure tourism industry in Queenstown. Around The Basin has tailored a number of different cycle packages. Our target market is Grade 1 to 2 riders wanting a quality biking experience in one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand renowned for its spectacular scenery. We operate on purpose built Cycle Trails which wander through the basin, past two lakes, three river gorges, historic Arrowtown, the wine area of Gibbston Valley and countless mountain ranges. The purpose built trails that ATB utilise are all off road.
