Your adventure starts with your pick-up in Reykjavik. The group size of this tour is no bigger than 8. Your driver-guide will then head out to the countryside and away from the city lights. And then the hunt begins. All our guides have many years of experience with Northern Light tours. Together we analyze the forecast daily and make our decision whether we go out for a hunt or not. If the answer is yes, we will drive to the most promising places to see the Aurora Borealis according to the weather forecast. In case we are not lucky in the first place, all our guides are advised to drive to different locations to maximize our chances. During the drive or while we are waiting for the Northern Lights to show up, your knowledgeable guide will help you with setting up your camera, explain all the science behind the Northern Lights to you and serve you delicious hot chocolate and Icelandic "Kleina".
