Unbelievable Lukomir Village Tour and Hiking (Hiking is Optional)

The tour starts at 8 AM from in front of our office in Sarajevo where you would receive your guide for the tour and transportation to Umoljani. Estimated arrival to Umoljani around 9 AM from where we would be starting our hiking trip towards Lukomir. During the hiking trip, there will be plenty of stops so you would be able to refresh yourself and take a few shots of beautiful Bosnian landscapes.

Upon the arrival to Lukomir, we ‘ll have a coffee break to catch our breath. While in Lukomir you ‘ll have the free time to explore surroundings by yourself. Free time ends with a lunch traditionally made by the local “chefs”. Departure form Lukomir is after Lunch to our transportation in Konjic and as we continue our trip back to Sarajevo.

By exploring Lukomir you would get to learn about last traditional settlement in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Learn about their customs and their way of living in harshest conditions in a mountain region. The ideal time of the year to visit Lukomir would be in Spring, Summer, and early Autumn.

Residents of Lukomir are not present during the winter season, as the village becomes unapproachable, they return to their well-known lifestyle with an arrival of the Spring. Experience their lifestyle, enjoy traditionally made lunch and coffee, witness most beautiful mountainscapes in Bosnia.
