Then head into the city proper to embark on a walking tour of the city's historic center. Step into the Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca, a symbol of Toledo's once thriving Jewish community, and explore the winding streets of the Jewish Quarter en route to the famed Primada Cathedral. As one of the most significant religious sites in Spain, it serves as an excellent example of Gothic architecture, and no trip to Toledo would be complete without a visit.   By now a snack is in order.
