Rio de Janeiro Favela Jeep Tour

Begin your tour with convenient pickup at select hotels, otherwise meet your guide and group at a central spot. Climb into your waiting Jeep and set off into the hills above Rio, the location of Rocinha favela. 

Once you arrive, walk through the community in the company of your guide. Learn about this neighborhood, which houses roughly 250,000 people and is home to a relatively developed infrastructure. Visit the samba school Acadêmicos da Rocinha, the neighborhood's commercial center, and check out the street fair's crafts, food, and drinks.
