Travel in style aboard our luxury minibus with one of our expert English-speaking guides, as we take you from the bustling city of Paris to the idyllic countryside of Normandy. You will have the unique opportunity to visit the precious collection of Japanese engravings, displayed in several rooms of Monet's colorful home, hung in the marmer chosen by the Master himself. The Claude Monet Foundation, inaugurated in 1980 has gone through large scale restoration work, and now the huge Nymphéas Studio, a stone's throw from the house, has also been restored and contains the Foundation’s Shop.
Monet's house and gardens were passed to the Academy of Arts by his son Michel in 1966. Nowadays, it is restored as a museum where the main Monet's canvas are exhibited, and the gardens are recreated.
During the tour, you will see Monet's house restored as in the old days, the painter's workshop and stroll through the wonderful garden. Inside Monet's house, you will discover the "blue lounge" (room for reading), groceries, the dining room with the famous collection of Japanese drawings on the wall, and the kitchen well decorated.
In front of the house, you will be charmed by the famous Monet's gardens which are majestic and represent one of the painter's greatest masterpieces. You will visit Monet's house and gardens as you wish, and our guide will give you all the information needed to enjoy your visit. The Monet's house is generally opened from beginning of April to end of October.
