Extreme Jaco Canyoning

This exciting canyoning tour in Costa Rica starts just 20 minutes from Jaco! After fueling up with an authentic Costa Rican breakfast, we hop into our 4×4 vehicles and drive up the mountain to our private reserve at an altitude of over 1,000ft.

Your experienced guide will provide a comprehensive safety briefing before embarking on a five-minute hike to the first zipline. Here, you'll enjoy two exhilarating zips over the river, followed by a dry training rappel to familiarize yourself with proper techniques.

A short hike downstream leads to opportunities for swimming and optional cliff jumping from heights of 4 to 25 feet. Next, you'll tackle four waterfall rappels ranging from 50 to 85 feet, each offering a unique challenge.

The adventure culminates with Costa Rica's longest unassisted rappel—a thrilling 150-foot descent into a refreshing pool. Throughout the experience, your guide ensures your safety with constant support. After exploring natural swimming holes deep within the canyon, a steep 30-minute hike brings you back to base. The entire tour spans approximately five to six hours, making it essential to be in good physical condition for this unforgettable adventure.

Weather Policy

All of our tours will run rain or shine. When it rains here it is still relatively warm and the rain can actually enhance your experience while you are in the rain forest. However, if the rain is so strong that it creates conditions that your guide deems it unsafe, we will cancel the tour and you can reschedule or receive a refund.

Cancellation Policy

We value the relationship we have with each guest and want it to be mutually rewarding and last a lifetime. While some companies will fill tours with as many as 50 people at a time we tend to limit our groups to about 16.

Some Travel Insurance is included on certain credit cards so it’s worth checking to see if you’re already covered by your credit card.
