Good to know
- Check in at 6:40AM! Train departs at 7am & it does not wait. Our yellow check-in stand is located close to the Customer Service Desk at Heuston Station where our representative will be waiting for you in their BRIGHT yellow jacket!
- Due to operational reasons it may, on occasion, be necessary to alter certain itineraries.
- Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund.
- Children U16 cannot book independently. They must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times.
- WHEELCHAIR POLICY: Our tours are a combination of train and luxury coach and include a moderate level of physical activity, such as short walks to meeting points etc. Unfortunately even the most modern luxury coaches (buses) are not wheelchair friendly, thus our tours are not suitable for those with mobility issues, and regretfully walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on our tours.

Ok, but not great.
The Blarney Castle was great. Even though we were not too far back in line, it was still an hour and a half before we got to go up and kiss the Stone. And with only two hours at the stop, you didn’t really have much time to do anything else. Norman was our guide, and while he is a very nice guy and very knowledgeable, he is 89 years old and did not have the fun energetic experience that we have had with other tours.

This was a nice tour to...
This was a nice tour to take but it was so long. Don't kid yourself. I got up at 5am to leave by 615am to walk to Heuston station and get on the train to leave by 7am. We didn't return until 8pm. In between we got to see much of the Irish country side, along with Blarney Castle and Cobh. We didn't get to see anything of Cork because of an unavoidable problem with the train that day which required us to get off the trains and be bussed to the train station in Limerick. Anyway it's all good and it was a good tour. Like i said it is a very long day, just keep that in mind.
