- WHEELCHAIR POLICY: Railtours Ireland First Class ltd very successfully offers hosted railtours for the independent traveller. Our tours are a combination of train and luxury coach and include a moderate level of physical activity, such as short walks to meeting points etc. Unfortunately even the most modern luxury coaches (buses) are not wheelchair friendly, thus our tours are not suitable for those with mobility issues, and regretfully walkers, wheelchairs and mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on our tours.

Fantastic Tour!
Traveled in roomy comfortable 16 van with competent driver. The tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. There was plenty of time provided at each stop. Lots of restroom breaks provided. The hotel in Belfast was modern and luxurious with a wonderful breakfast buffet provided as part of stay. The tour guide at pickup in Dublin walked us onto the train to our seats and explained how and where we would be met in Belfast. The man who met us at the station in Belfast walked us to the nearby hotel and gave us advice about where to eat. I received more than one message about exactly where to meet the tour guide for the bus trip to the Giant’s Causeway. Upon return to Belfast Station, the tour guide Paul walked us onto the train and pointed out the seats reserved for our group. He then rode the train with us back to Dublin. He walked us out to where we could get a taxi. Overall, a fantastic tour that I heartily recommend.
A great tour that includes the Giant’s Causeway!
Sean and Paddy were great tour guides. We arrived at the train station to find our host in a bright yellow jacket. We took the train and a bus from Newry to Belfast (the same for the way back home). They shared stories, helped us navigate, and it was so much fun seeing the Giant’s Causeway.
Must see tour
Great tour, cold and wet at the causeway. Not fun. Rained all day, our tour guide Ray was wonderful.
Great Service!
My friend and I had a great experience on this tour. Everyone we worked with was very helpful and friendly. Our bus driver Patrick was totally great, and the folks at the Railtours were also great! We did this tour upon arriving in Ireland and I was nice to know we didn't have to plan or do much more than just show up on time. Hotel accommodations were great as well. I would recommend this tour hands down!
