Know before you book

- Bring a light rain jacket, as weather can be unpredictable.

Good to know
- Not recommended for small children. If they are very used to travelling on a bus tour and very used to walking, please book 1 seat per child and bring your own child seat.
- Not recommended to those with walking disabilities (a fair amount of walking involved)
- Not recommended for participants with back problems, with heart complaints, pregnant women or other serious medical conditions
- If passengers are late to the pick up the bus will not wait for them even if they call the office before hand. Must make sure they are on time. If passengers are intoxicated at any stage of the tour they will not be allowed on/back on the bus.
- The pick up point is in the City Centre so there is no parking available for passengers to leave their cars for the entire day.
- Use the bathroom prior to coming to the pick up point. Bring a packed lunch and also wear comfortable clothing, comfortable shoes as well as a rainproof jacket.

Review
Our tour guide Oli and driver Noshad were amazing. Oli had great energy and made funny jokes during the drive, & of course was very informative providing us with a walking tour at Glendalough. We started at 8am, reached Kilkenny at about 9.30am, where we had until 11.15am to walk around the town. Then we headed to the sheepdog demonstration which was very interesting. We then headed to a photo stop at wicklow mountain and spent our time at our last stop Glendalough at 2.30-4.30pm. I paid ~43 euros on Klook, but it will be 38 euros if you book directly from Finn Mccools tour.
Lovely day trip with super guide Oli!
Had an amazing guided tour with Oli who was very engaging, enthusiastic and entertaining. Appreciate the depth of his sharing as he was clearly very knowledgeable about all things Irish. Strongly recommend the tour, and a major plus if one is lucky enough to get Oli as their guide!
Memorable first
Really enjoyed our day trip to Kilkenny, Wicklow and Glendalough. Oli was a friendly guide and shared quite a lot of interesting history and little stories along the way. Fred was our driver for the day, and the journey was comfortable and felt safe throughout. We liked that the tour had a good mix of different sights — we visited castle and cathedral at Kilkenny, went through the Wicklow mountains, and saw the ruins and lake at Glendalough. We also got to see sheepdogs working in action, which was pretty cool to see! It rained for most of the day, but thankfully visibility was still relatively good which didn’t affect much of the experience . Overall, it was a really nice way to see a bit more of Ireland and learn about its history and culture, especially for someone visiting Ireland for the first time.
