Good to know
- Confirmation will be received at time of booking;
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
- Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
- For lunch we provide meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.
- Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
- We do not recommend that you book or schedule different activities at the end of the tour. Although the tour may last 9/10 hours, the duration may vary depending on traffic conditions and other factors.
- Please be aware that the activities which we visit, such as vineyards, restaurants, etc, are subject to 3rd party availability and other groups/participants may be with the your group during the experience.
- Schedules and Itinerary may change without prior notice.
- The pick-up service is only available for the ones that choose the option "Small Group Tour - Up to 8 people" and "Private Tour".
- Please make sure that you have breakfast. Keep in mind that we probably will only stop at the first activity. We may not have time to make a pit stop before arriving to the first vineyard.
- On the private option infants or childrens must be booked as an individual adult/place. Prices shown are per group/vehicle.

Great company and the tour is fun
Sarah was wonderful - very informative and friendly. We were late because our uber driver never showed so we had to walk and she waited for us after we called. The first winery was great, but the walk a bit more than we anticipated, up a steep hill on a dirt road. I was on crutches so it wasn’t easy - but worth it. Boat tour was beautiful but would have been better if there was narration. Second winery venue was amazing, the tasting was good but the lunch - meh. Surely servers, food was not good. Overall the experience was great, though and I would definitely recommend.
Amazing day in the Duoro Valley
It was an amazing day, and Julianne was great. She was knowledgeable and kept us on pace all day. The 1st port tasting and meal were phenomenal, and the boatride up the Duoro was beautiful. I can't imagine a better day. The 2nd winery was OK, but not as enjoyable as the 1st. A great value for all 4 of us in our small group!!!
Great Guide!
Our guide, Sara, was terrific! Friendly, casual and fun, she managed to keep the large group well organized and moving through several wonderful experiences. The Douro Valley boat tour with port was relaxing and beautiful, and the wine-tasting was nice (wines were good but not outstanding), but the lunch was delightful. On the way back to Porto Sara led karaoke of American pop hits, which was a lot of fun. Great guide!
Small group tour
We had an exceptional day with Pedro on the small group tour. He was very knowledgeable, personable, kind and created a great atmosphere for the day. Lunch was very good and the ambiance was beautiful and full of culture. Loved our port tasting experience. We highly recommend using Pedro as your guide as he was one of the best guides we ever had.
