Great port tour with amazing guide
This was a great overview of Porto’s port wine industry. We started at Fonseco and had a guided tour of the museum which explained how port is made, the region where the grapes are grown and the different types of port. Then was tasting. We also went to 2 other tasting rooms and had 9 different ports. I highly recommend the tour. Our guide, Rafaela, was especially good.

I thought that the guide was knowledgeable, but she was very strict and not terribly friendly at the group.

Very enjoyable time with very good information passed on. Rafaela was an excellent guide, giving us loads of information on how port is made. I would definitely recommend.
Lovely tour, just the right amount of time
An enjoyable port wine introduction! Visited 3 cellars, learned about the different Port types. Rafaela gave great explanations of everything. And we had a ball yapping with other travelers. We hung back and two of the guests bought 5 bottles for the group to enjoy. Travel and meet new people!!
