Good to know
- The tour duration includes the time that the travelers will spend on sightseeing the valley.
- Please make sure that you have breakfast. Keep in mind that we probably will only stop at the first activity. We may not have time to make a coffee break
- Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
- This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
- Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability).
- Please be aware that the activities which we visit, such as vineyards are subject to 3rd party availability and other groups/participants may be with the your group during the experience.

This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Portugal. Our guide Juliana was amazing. The history of Duoro Valley and the making of the port wine. Our lunch was fabulous. She made this excursion worth every penny!
Beautiful scenery and delicious food and wine.
Enjoyed the smaller group and shorter day. Douro valley Beautiful scenery. Lunch was delicious. I believe our guide was Andre , (sorry if I got that wrong) he was very entertaining and informative. He Went out of his way to help us get tickets to a soccer game. Definitely recommend.

A pretty good tour.
The experience all in all was pretty good. Our guide was knowledgeable and a very good driver. The time on the river was the weakest part of the tour. Just a 50 minute up and down a small stretch of the river in an electric boat moving at about 2 miles an hour with a two or three glasses of wine. I was hoping to see a lot more of the river valley. The lunch was in a very nice winery building with a separate room for our group of seven. The chicken option was just ok but the wine was plentiful and very good. The tasting afterwards was nice. The hostesses at the lunch and tastings were very nice. For me, the 1 1/2 ride back and forth was a very good opportunity to see the beautiful countryside of the Douro River valley.
