Why take this tour?

In this second part of the El Dorado expedition, your tour begins in the Plaza Bolivar, where you will learn a bit about the Libertadores story and what was once one country - the Nueva Granada (today Peru), Colombia, Ecuador, Bolivia, Panamá, and Venezuela. The narrator, Gonzalo Jimenez de Quesada, continues the journey showing you the statue of himself in the Plazoleta del Rosario. You will hear about the secret expeditions and adventures that happened while crossing the Andes. Your tour ends, finding proof that the legend of El Dorado really was true as your narrator leads you to the Museum of Gold, where you will admire an amazing archeological collection of Pre-Colombian art. The legend of El Dorado is proven with all the artifacts that can be found within. You will also get to discover the rituals and secrets of the ancient civilization that inhabited the Andes prior to the arrivals of the colonists.
