Pick-up of participants in Coimbra at 2 pm where we start the journey by car to Nazaré. We started the visit at Praia do Norte at Fort São Miguel Arcanjo right next to the biggest wave in the world. Then we pass to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, in front of Nazaré beach, and we descend to the fishing village by the traditional elevator, wandering the labyrinths of the narrow streets, in a tangle of small houses. There are about 53 kilometers that separate the two important Marian sanctuaries: the historic Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora da Nazaré, set in a promontory or finisterra over the sea and whose origin dates back to ancient times, and the remarkable Sanctuary of Fátima that was built from the century in Cova da Iria at the site of the 1917 apparitions.
After collecting the participants in Fátima, we return to Coimbra by car.
