Why take this tour?

Tendremos una visita guiada a la iglesia y mercado de San Juan Chamula, pudiendo conocer los usos y costumbres de la región, visitando el interior de la Iglesias de San Juan Bautista llena de rituales y costumbres ancestrales, admirando los arreglos en altares y la vestimenta de los santos de acuerdo a las costumbres indígenas. Daremos un paseo por los alrededores y tendrás tiempo para comprar artesanías y souvenirs de la región. Posteriormente nos trasladamos a la comunidad de Zinacantán, famoso por su telar de cintura, admirando los telares donde disfrutaremos de un mini lunch tradicional (frijolitos, café orgánico, tortillas hechas mano y bebida típica de la región) en compañía de una familia local, también podremos observar el sincretismo religioso entre la iglesia católica y las costumbres mayas dentro de la Iglesia de San Lorenzo.

Después de nuestra visita, tendremos tiempo para visitar San Cristóbal, recorrer sus andadores turísticos y tiempo comer.

• La Empresa no se hace responsable de las condiciones climatológicas, bloqueos o manifestaciones y situaciones especiales por las que no se pueda llevar a cabo el servicio, por lo que dependiendo de la naturaleza y/o situación se aplicará un reembolso proporcional de acuerdo al problema ocurrido no excediendo mas del 50%.
• En caso de no poder llegar a su destino por los puntos mencionados, la empresa se limita a regresar al punto original de partida.
• Si durante el recorrido en lancha durante el Cañón del sumidero ó Rio Usumacinta , el cliente llegase a ocurrir algún percance u accidente, la empresa no se hace responsable de ningún gasto médico ya que las cooperativas son independientes al servicio de transportación turística terrestre.
• Los tiempos de llegada son aproximados y dependiendo de la temporada vacacional estos pueden reducirse hasta 30 -45 minutos del tiempo habitual.
• La empresa NO se hace responsable por dejar objetos olvidados en las unidades.

 The customer has basic travel insurance. If the client realizes activities like rafting, kayaking, rappelling or any expedition (Miramar-Piedras Negras), the customer has additional adventure insurance.
 The collective tours have a waiting time of 30 minutes after the appointed hour.
 The Company is NOT responsible for the weather, blockades or manifestations and special situations which can not carry out the service, so there is no refund or reimbursement of any kind.
 In the visit to indigenous peoples (Chamula and Zinacantan), is totally FORBIDDEN to take pictures inside the church, otherwise it is the responsibility and risk of the customer.
 In case of any accident during the fluvial transportation by the Sumidero Canyon or Usumacinta River (Yaxchilan), the company is not responsible for any medical expenses u others. The fluvial transportation is independent of the Tour Operator.
 The company is not responsible for forgotten items left in cars or units.
 Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund.
